Neff Dishwasher Repair Action

If you are concerned that you may have a Neff dishwasher affected by the repair action, please go to

You will need to enter the Model (EN) number and the Batch (FD) number. These are both found on a sticker inside the dishwasher door. Please note that this repair action is only valid on certain models of dishwashers manufactured between 1999 – 2005. Alternatively you can contact the Customer Contact Centre on 0800 023 4881 to arrange a repair.

In July 2011, BSH initiated a voluntary repair action on the limited quantity of dishwashers that were manufactured between 1999 – 2005 and sold in the UK. Since the repair action began, BSH have taken a number of initiatives to make consumers aware of the need to contact us and have their dishwasher repaired. To date BSH have achieved a repair rate of 27% which by industry standards is above the expected rate of success in repair actions with similar circumstances. However, we take our responsibility as a manufacturer incredibly seriously and continue with an ongoing advertising campaign to highlight the dishwasher repair action.

The dishwashers that are affected are anywhere between 8 and 14 years old so it is very difficult to predict how many are still being used - either because customers have changed their appliance or the natural "end of life" of the appliance has occurred. Regardless of this fact, there remains a number of dishwashers that are as of yet unaccounted for. It remains our ultimate objective to account for each and every single one of the potentially affected appliances and either carry out a repair free to the customer or determine that the appliance is no longer in use.

To this end, and in light of the Electrical Standards Council recent press release, we welcome any improvements to the traceability of home appliances.
