I have always used gas ovens and so my new U16E74 double oven is very different. Can you please tell me why Circotherm only heats up to 200 degrees C? If I am baking scones am I better to use circotherm or the top and bottom heat? My first batch turned out ok on circotherm but took longer than in my gas oven. Many thanks.

With the shelves - should the enamel pan be kept in the oven on shelf 1 at all times or is it OK to remove when using oven? Had a go at roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings using booklet guide and these seemed to take longer using circotherm than when I cooked with gas - is this normal?
