Angela Gray’s Cookery School

Ashdown Manna Cookery School

Set in a beautiful working vineyard in the idyllic vale of Glamorgan, minutes from the M4 junction 34, Angela Gray opened the doors to her cookery school at Llanerch Vineyard in April 2010. Since then she has been voted into the Top 10 UK cookery schools by the Independent and the Telegraph. Her extensive programme features courses such as skill builders, monthly lunch clubs, Saturday morning kitchens and pop-up restaurant evenings. Alongside these, she has created a wide variety of exciting corporate/bespoke events such as the team building ‘chef’s kitchen challenge’.

In September 2014, Angela’s cookery school teamed up with Welsh kitchen manufacturer, Sigma 3, to completely refurbish their teaching kitchens. The companies have formed the partnership to show how working together can help Welsh brands to promote expertise within their industry, offering renowned cookery courses in high end facilities. The new kitchens now feature a range of high quality Sigma 3 kitchen units, made locally in their factory in Llantrisant, using Sigma 3’s contemporary and bespoke design. The school also boasts state-of-the art NEFF ovens and hobs, allowing cookery students to experiment with exciting new techniques.
