Pyrolytic Cleaning

Pyrolytic cleaning is a self cleaning system available on the B4472 or B4562 single ovens and now also available on the B6784 Multifunction oven with microwave and grill. The process superheats the oven to approximately 500°C, which burns off any deposits from baking, roasting and grilling. You're left with a perfectly clean oven and a residue with a damp cloth. As a safety measure, the oven door locks automatically until the oven has cooled to an acceptable level. The whole process only takes 1-2 hours, depending on the degree of soiling (there are three programme options) and can be run overnight using the delay timer.
