"Hobs get top score!"

Good Housekeeping Magazine awards accolade to Neff

Every month, Good Housekeeping Magazine has a "Tried and Tested" section and this month (September issue) it's the turn of hobs to come under the magazines scruntiny.

A complete range of gas, ceramic and induction hobs were tested against criteria such as ease of cleaning and boiling time amongst a host of other important factors.

We're delighted to say that the two Neff hobs submitted for testing performed brilliantly, scoring top marks in their sectors. The first was the T27F7, our top of the range Series 6 Electronic gas hob on ceramic glass. This is 70cm wide with 4 burners and has cast iron pan supports. Features include automatic ignition via electronic controls and numerous saftey elements such as Flame Control, atumatic re-ignition and Flame Failure safety device.

The model scored 10/10 for ease of cleaning and received 79/100 as a total score putting it joint leader of the score board.

The second model tested was the new induction model T4243. This scored an amazing 90/100 and really was a winner with the magazine. Good Housekeeping says "Induction was the hands down winner for speed in our tests - cuttings two to four minutes off the time taken to boil a litre of water." This model is a Series 3 framless version and achieved 10/10 for ease of cleaning as well and the lowest boiling time of 4 1/2 minutes. Induction hobs are a real alternative to gas or ceramic and are easy to clean, look sleek and stylish, are energy efficient with a host of safety features.
